Privacy Policy · Product draft

Private records should remain private by default.

This is a plain-language founding-pilot product policy, not legal advice and not a statement that counsel has reviewed it. Formal privacy review and jurisdiction-specific terms are still required before a wider launch.

Information this product may collect

  • Account and contact details, such as name, email address, account preferences, and authentication information.
  • Decision Receipts, including a product or service, the source of influence, expected result, timing, and optional cost or return-window details.
  • Claims, check-in responses, reported outcomes, and any disclosure a participant or recommender provides.
  • Verification evidence supplied to support a record, such as a receipt, order confirmation, photo, usage signal, or explanation.
  • Contact requests and the technical, cookie, analytics, security, and device information needed to operate and protect the service.

How it may be used

Aftelo may use this information to provide the pilot, create and maintain Decision Receipts, schedule check-ins, assess submitted evidence, respond to requests, prevent fraud or abuse, improve product operations, and create aggregate privacy-safe evidence where appropriate.

Public and private controls

Decision Receipts, verification files, and account-level histories are intended to be private by default. A user may choose to publish eligible claim or outcome context where the product offers that control. Receipt files and individual purchase histories are not intended to be public evidence.

Public pages may show aggregate outcomes, evidence strength, disclosure context, and limited public claim information. They should not expose raw receipt files or personal profiles.

Sharing and aggregate evidence

Aftelo may use service providers that help operate the product and may share information when required for security, legal obligations, or a valid request. It does not intend to sell identifiable consumer histories.

Aggregate, privacy-safe evidence may be shared with users, researchers, retailers, brands, or partners when appropriate. Those outputs are intended to describe groups and patterns, not identify individual people.

Retention and security

Information is intended to be retained only for as long as reasonably needed to run the pilot, meet the purpose described here, protect the service, resolve disputes, comply with obligations, or preserve legitimate aggregate integrity. Retention periods and deletion handling will need formal review before broader launch.

Aftelo uses reasonable product and administrative safeguards designed to protect information, but no internet service can promise absolute security.

Access, correction, deletion, and concerns

You can request access, correction, export, or deletion through the contact route. Aftelo may need to verify identity before acting. Some data may be retained where necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal obligations, dispute handling, or privacy-safe aggregate integrity; the response should explain the relevant status.

Cookies, analytics, children, and scope

The site may use necessary cookies and limited analytics to run and improve the service. Cookie choices and any optional analytics controls should be presented when applicable.

The initial product is not directed to children, and people below the applicable age of digital consent should not use it without a lawful basis. The initial launch excludes regulated categories, including medical, therapeutic, weight-loss, financial, and other high-risk recommendations.
